GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certifications are not the same, although they both focus on ensuring the quality and safety of textile products.
While GOTS certification covers the use of organic fibers and environmentally friendly processes, it does not specifically address the absence of harmful substances in the final product. On the other hand, OEKO-TEX® certification specifically tests and verifies the absence of harmful substances in textile products.
Therefore, if a clothing item has GOTS certification but does not have OEKO-TEX® certification, it means that it meets the criteria for organic and sustainable production but has not been specifically tested for harmful substances according to the OEKO-TEX® standard.
At KAYS+KINS, we are proud to have both GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certifications for our garments. This means that our products not only meet the organic and sustainable criteria set by GOTS but also undergo rigorous testing to ensure they are free from harmful substances according to the OEKO-TEX® standard.
In the case of bamboo clothing, if it is OEKO-TEX® certified, it means that despite the chemical processes involved in bamboo fabric production, the final product has been tested and verified to meet the stringent standards for human health and safety.
With our certifications, you can trust that our garments are not only made from organic cotton blends but also undergo thorough testing to ensure they are safe for you and your little ones. We are committed to providing high-quality, eco-friendly, and safe products that you can feel confident and comfortable in.
